Message from the Founder:
Seconds Save Life was founded on a simple belief: people should not feel helpless while waiting for professional responders to reach them. Through practical training, realistic scenarios, and stronger emergency planning, we prepare individuals and organizations to act with confidence when lives are at risk.

About Seconds Save Life
Who we are:
Seconds Save Life Corp is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization focused on crisis prevention, emergency preparedness and management, and hands-on, scenario-based lifesaving education.
Mission statement:
Our mission is to equip communities with the knowledge and practical skills to respond during active threats and other high-consequence incidents when emergency responders are delayed or cannot safely reach the injured—because every second counts.
Our mission is to make lifesaving knowledge and skills accessible to everyone. We aim to foster a culture of preparedness and resilience in communities, ensuring that individuals are ready to respond effectively during emergencies.
Why we do it:
During active threats and other high-consequence incidents, people can die from potentially survivable injuries before emergency responders can safely reach them. Well-intended but inappropriate actions can place both casualties and responders at greater risk. We exist to close that gap by preparing communities to make sound decisions, provide appropriate lifesaving care, and manage the immediate response until professional help can take over.

What we do:
We provide hands-on, scenario-based training for safety teams, schools, businesses, event personnel, and law enforcement. Our programs integrate threat assessment, emergency response, and lifesaving medical intervention, preparing participants to act effectively until professional responders can safely take over.
We also perform site assessments, security gap evaluations, and the development or review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and emergency operations plans (EOPs).
Our training ranges from civilian trauma response and prehospital emergency care to tactical casualty care for law enforcement, security, and executive protection personnel. Course offerings include Stop the Bleed (2 hours), Direct Threat Casualty Care (DTCC - 8-hour certification), as well as TCCC- and TECC-aligned Tac-Med training (16-hour certification).
